So I've had a WRT600N for about 5 months now. I've had issues with it all along.... originally I just thought the firmware needed to be upgraded and I limped along restarting the router every couple of days. One of the things that bugged me the most was not being able to get consistent throughput to my XBOX 360 when streaming wireless HD content. It wasn't a big deal because of the writers strike nothing good was really on TV anyways. Then I discovered that either my wife or my little nephew had been accidentally plugging the cable modem power supply into the router and the router powersupply into the cable model. Well, when I figured that out I plugged the right power supplies back in... or so I thought. As it turned out a used an old power supply that was connected to my old linksys router that just happened to be still plugged into the power strip. After finding all that out I finally got a little better performance and would only need to reboot the router every 3 days or so. I figured it was my fault but lately things have gotten worse and I decided to RMA it. Well I just got my new router installed and it is now working great. I was still having issues with streaming HD content but it looks like I figured out how to resolve that issue. I've posted the settings I used below.

Original Settings (out of the box) with Mixed and WPA2-Personal (okay I selected this... out of the box was no encryptions) encryption yielded less than HD quality out of the XBOX 360 (See settings in Image Above)

Changing it to A only did not do anything, wireless security was still set to WPA2-Personal. (See settings in Image Above)

Leaving Wireless set to A only and Changing Wireless security mode to WPA Personal Yielded HDTV bandwidth on the XBOX 360! (See settings in Image Above)

Wanting to run a controlled experiment I once again set it back to Mixed mode (instead of Wireless A only) and re-ran the test. This time the bandwidth yielded only 3/4's of the way to HDTV bandwidth levels. I think the issue is running mixed A/G/N network mode and having to do WPA2-Personal encryption on the HD content. UPDATED!
According to the website below I should be using WPA2-AES instead of TKIP for max throughput. I've yet to try this but will let you know!

Final update:
Looks like the XBOX 360 does not work with WPA2 AES security :( So I'll have to stick with Wireless A with WPA personal for now :(
